Doris Bloodsworth is an award-winning veteran journalist, author and expert in marketing and public relations.
Bloodsworth covers the northern and middle district federal courts for Bloomberg News. She is a former reporter at The Wall Street Journal and the Orlando Sentinel, Bloodsworth was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize and won numerous awards for her reporting and ethics, including the Society of Professional Journalists Award. Her extensive background includes the airline, sports, nonprofit and insurance industries in addition to higher education.
Bloodsworth graduated with highest honors from the University of Florida. She is a longtime Central Florida resident and founded the Groveland Historical Museum.
